Ravello weather
Our month by month guide to the weather in Ravello.
Ravello Weather
Ravello weather January
Perhaps not too surprisingly, the weather in Ravello in January is nothing to get excited about.
Daytime high temperatures in Ravello for January are 12°C/54°F whilst in the evening they can fall to 6°C/44°F so, as you can see, the evenings are not only chilly………they are COLD.
Daytime temperatures are not much better and remember that low temperatures are not always accompanied by sunshine-January is the cloudiest month of the year in Ravello.
Ravello weather February
Ravello’s weather in February is pretty much the same as January’s weather. Daytime highs may be one degree warmer (or less cold) but evenings can often be even colder than in January!
The weather in Positano in February isn’t much different to January to be honest with you. Day time temperatures may creep up a couple of degrees but evenings are still cold, as is the sea water.
February is also the month of the year with the coldest seawater temperatures-far too cold to swim in.
Ravello weather March
March can also be cold but as you move on through the month then the temperatures start to rise……slightly.
The first part of March is still pretty cold and generally unpleasant but as we get into the second half of March then daily temperatures average around 16°C/61°F.
The first half of March could be classified as winter still in Ravello but the second half there begins to be a change and it starts to feel like spring has arrived.
Ravello weather April
Ravello’s average temperatures in April range between 16°C to 20°C and some years the temperatures can creep even higher making
April a very pleasant time to visit.
Good weather is by no means guaranteed but as you move into the latter part of April then the chances of rainy days begin to fall and there is a greater chance of having a clear sunny day.
Ravello weather May
May temperatures start to resemble summer temperatures back in the UK! Average temperatures range between 21°C – 24°C and can even reach the high 20’s if you’re lucky.
Sea temperatures rise to a level where the brave can dare to swim though it might still be too cold for many.
Ravello weather June

The sea temperature is not only warm enough to swim but actually feels beautiful to spend time bathing in the warm waters.

The weather is beautiful and you’re pretty much guaranteed sunshine unless you’re really unlucky. Evenings are warm and balmy and sea temperatures can even reach 26°C !
Ravello weather September
The intense July and August heat drops off a little bit but the early part of September can still be scorching hot with high humidity. The latter part of the month offers very pleasant, warm sunny days gradually getting cooler in the evenings.
September can be a very good (and smart) time to visit Ravello.
Ravello weather October
October in Ravello can be a great time to visit if you want to avoid the heat of summer but the weather cannot always be predicted.
Temperatures can still reach 22°C in the daytime but evenings start to feel chilly especially in the latter part of the month. Sea temperatures start to lose their summer warmth and some may find the waters too cold to swim in.
Ravello weather November

Ravello weather December
Cold evenings and cool days combined with more rain, more cloud and more wind……are we selling it to you yet?
December is one of the quietest months to visit Ravello-even Italians hardly visit the town at this month but as Christmas approaches Ravello comes alive again, if only for the Christmas season.
