The closest airport to Sorrento is Naples and this will be the airport that everyone flies into whenever they are visiting Sorrento or the Amalfi coast.

The only exception to this might be US tourists who may have flights to Rome or Milan and then decide to take the train down south.

Flights to Naples from the UK

If you’re looking for flights to Naples from the UK then you’re spoilt for choice as the UK is well serviced with direct flights to Naples international airport.

Average flights times from most UK airports to Naples is around 2 hours and 45 minutes. 

London Heathrow provides regular flights courtesy of ITA (Italy’s national airline) and British Airways. Other London airports provide direct flights to Naples from a variety of low cost carriers such as Easyjet, Ryanair, Wizzair.

Outside of the capital, Manchester, Edinburgh, Liverpool and Birmingham are just some of the airports which fly direct to Naples.
