Combining historical and classic elegance with modern luxury the Bellevue Syrene is rightly regarded as one of the best hotels in Sorrento.
Standard rooms offer beautiful sea views with balconies but it is the hotel suites that take luxury to the next level.
Some of the hotel suites off seaview terraces, a private lift or even your own mini swimming pool!
The Bellevue Syrene doesn’t have just one restaurant-it has two both of which make perfect use of the hotel’s enviable position overlooking the Gulf of Naples.
La Pergola is the terraced restaurant you have probably seen on many photos. Dine outdoors under lanterns and trailing wisteria and soak up the atmosphere of a Sorrento sunset.
The second restaurant is the Mimmo Jodice room. Usually reserved for the winter months it is sometimes opened during the summer months too when the weather isn’t behaving itself. Large windows provide a panoramic view of the sea and gives guests this magical view whatever the weather.
About the Hotel
When you are down on the beach and look up then you can see that the Bellevue Syrene is literally perched on the edge of a cliff. This affords hotel guests and diners perfect views over the seascape and towards Naples and Vesuvius.
The Bellevue Syrene has its own private beach accessed by a private lift or Roman walkway via an ancient cave network. This offers arguably the prettiest bathing spot in the whole of Sorrento.
The beach area also features views of ancient nymphaea—Roman ruins that once served as sanctuaries dedicated to water nymphs.
